The best anti-aging sunscreen to prevent skin aging

I’m a keen tennis player which is the only activity where I will actively be exposed to the hot sun for a long stretch of time. Needless to say that a very good sunscreen cream is absolutely essential.

Now I have been quite slack when it comes to sun protection creams and have always used off-the-shelve products from the nearest drugstore. However, I’m increasingly getting more dissatisfied with these sun creams. They tend to be very oily and clocking up my skin and they don’t offer any other benefits for my increasingly older-looking skin.

Although my current moisturizer is spf 15 it seems not to be sufficient for at least 2 hours sun exposure of the skin.

Shopping for the best sunscreen

It cannot be too greasy
Minimum SPF 30 which is the minimum requirement for sun protection of the face
UVB protection (against sunburn)
UVA protection (against skin damage)

Choosing a sunscreen

I was very tempted by ELIZABETH ARDEN Eight Hour Cream Sun Defense For Face SPF 50 as it seemed to meet all my requirements and at only S$25 it seemed like a steal. But in the end I choose SkinCeuticals Sports UV Defense. As I also decided to buy SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic, these 2 would provide the perfect combination.

Further skin protection

To prevent my skin from aging further and to boost the fight against free radicals and loss of elasticity I also bought SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic.
